The Najran Cooperative Association for Poultry Production (NCAPP) participated in the International Day of Cooperatives event, organized by the Social Development Center in Najran in collaboration with local cooperative associations. The event was held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Najran Park Mall, with the attendance of several officials, cooperative societies, and individuals interested in cooperative development in the region.

NCAPP was represented by Mr. Rashid Al-Shariyah, Board Member and Executive Director, who delivered a speech highlighting the association’s goals and vision to support local food security through the production of safe and healthy poultry. He also emphasized NCAPP’s role in advancing the cooperative sector in Najran and promoting a culture of collaboration among producers.

Mr. Al-Shariyah also spoke about the achievements of NCAPP since its establishment, along with its future plans to expand production, create more job opportunities, and support small-scale farmers and producers — efforts that were well received by attendees. He expressed his sincere appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, for his continued and unwavering support of the association, as well as to the respected officials of the Ministry.

At the conclusion of the event, NCAPP was honored for its outstanding efforts and valuable contributions to local community development. The commemorative shield was received by Mr. Rashid Al-Shariyah.
